N Bonner and KB continue to appear among the regions top performers.

There was only one 1st inns score above 250 and only three in total, I'm not so sure extra batting points alone will remedy that.
I think spinners Merchant and Walsh taking so many 1st inns wickets suggests the pitch's still might not be as true as desired, we shall see.

Okay, after the second round, I've set some standards. Batsmen have to score at least 100 runs and average over 34 (lowered from 35 to fit Hamilton), while bowlers have to take at least 10 wickets and average less than 20. The bar for bowlers is set high simply because our batsmen are crap, and our bowlers consistently get flattering returns.

1) John Campbell (Jamaica) 203 runs @ 50.75
2) Kieran Powell (Leewards) 177 runs @ 88.50
3) Nkrumah Bonner (Jamaica) 154 runs @ 38.50
4) Devon Smith (Windwards) 117 runs @ 39
5) Jahmar Hamilton (Leewards) (wkpr) 138 runs @ 34.50
6) Tonito Willett (Leewards) 139 runs & 2 wkts
7) Hayden Walsh (Leewards) 103 runs & 8 wkts
8) Akeal Hosein (Trinidad) 11 wkts @ 6.09!!!!!! :o
9) Veerasammy Permaul (Guyana) 12 wkts @ 16.41
10) Jerome Taylor (Jamaica) 10 wkts @ 13.50
11) Nelon Pascal (Windwards) 12 wkts @ 14.16

Players just outside the team are Devon Thomas, Kraigg Brathwaite, Horace Miller, Roston Chase, Vishal Singh, Kenroy Peters, Delorn Johnson and Gavin Tonge.

Afro will be happier with the composition of the team after the third round.

Actually, we can all be happier, because I'm now able to raise my bar to at least 125 runs and an average of 40 for batsmen (except keepers and allrounders), while keeping the requirement for bowlers at at least 10 wickets and an average of under 20.

2) Kraigg Brathwaite (Barbados) 212 runs @ 42.40

4) Darren Bravo (Trinidad) 130 runs @ 43.33
5) Jahmar Hamilton (Leewards) (wkpr) 213 runs @ 35.50
6) Akeal Hosein (Trinidad) 109 runs & 12 wkts
7) Tonito Willett (Leewards) 159 runs & 4 wkts
8) Veerasammy Permaul (Guyana) 22 wkts @ 14.31
9) Kenroy Peters (Windwards) 10 wkts @ 10.88
10) Suleimann Benn (Barbados) 13 wkts @ 13.61

As the tournaments leading scorer Shacoya Thomas cannot be overlooked for A team duty.
Being an opening batsman should ensure he is afforded an even greater level of consideration, as has been the case, and rightly so, with KB21.

Carlton Baugh being a proven failure at the higher level means Chadwick Walton should be the next wicket kepper to be considered as he is the next best performing keeper, and has been for the last two seasons.

Ryan Austin and Suliemann Benn's continued exclusion highlights the inherent fallibilty in subjective assessments as well as vindictiveness and insularity, issues Pybus's report cannot resolve.

They also have me questioning the regional competitions function.
