"Title holders Barbados have named an unchanged 13-man squad for their second round WICB first-class Day/Night match against Guyana at Providence in Guyana, March 7 to 10."

http://www.bcacricket.org/2010/articles.php?link=4110" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Squad: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Sulieman Benn, Tino Best, Rashidi Boucher, Carlos Brathwaite, Jonathan Carter, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Shai Hope, Ashley Nurse, Kevin Stoute, Kenroy Williams.

So, Kirk Edwards can't even make the four-day squad now....

"the in-form batsmen in the recently concluded WICB NAGICO Super50 tournament, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan who were both injured and did not participate in the first round, will be out of the team for the second round contest, a day/night affair against Barbados at the Guyana National Stadium from Friday. Chanderpaul’s 17-year-old son Tagenarine Chanderpaul who made his debut last year against the Leeward Islands and has to date scored 176 runs at an average of 22.00 with a highest score of 42, and Chanderpaul Hemraj are their replacements."

Sewnarine Chattergoon, Assad Fudadin, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Narsingh Deonarine, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Anthony Bramble, Christopher Barnwell (captain), Amir Khan, Veerasammy Permaul (vice-captain), Devendra Bishoo, Ronsford Beaton, Keon Joseph and Vishal Singh.

What's trolling about that? Kirk is not in the WI T20 squad, so he's available for the Bim four-day side. but we all know why the Bim selectors refuse to pick him....

I'm not saying he's not good enough. I just think it's absolutely ridiculous that Bim refuse to pick him because he won't sign a stupid form about shirts.

Well Holder isn't in the squad either!!..so perhaps those idiots decided to just go with the status quo this week? :roll:

It will be very interesting to see if Kurk plays in the next round!!...because it would be fecking outragous to see a WI test batsman have to miss a season over this bullsh/t!!..especially when we have a vital series against NZ coming up where losing surely isn't an option!! :evil: .

Given that both Kirk and holder did not play yesterday they should both be in Guyana now preparing to play for Barbados. But the Barbados selectors are fighting against Kirk and holder probably doesn't want to play because he has one eye on the IPL.

Nikita miller is playing for Jamaica tomorrow despite playing yesterday..

he's available for the Bim four-day side.
Hows that for product management. As captain of the defending champions you would think some sort of explanation would be in order.

There's very little reason to stick with the same squad after last weeks epic beating, not with international players on the sidelines.

The west Indies selectors and now the Bajans have both inferred Holder is best suited to 50 overs cricket :!: .
