Kirk Edwards should be dropped, waste of time. Bring back Samuels, he can't do worse...

We don't need seven batsmen against this poor Bangladeshi side...drop Kirk, bring in Holder.
Instead, our foolish selectors play six batsmen against a stronger NZ, while playing seven against a weak Bangladesh....

These aren't the same selectors who picked during the NZ series!!..so come again old boy!! .mikesiva wrote:We don't need seven batsmen against this poor Bangladeshi side...drop Kirk, bring in Holder.

Fayle is out injured and Johnson comes in!!..so i'd pick..
Brathwaite
Edwards
Johnson
Darren Bravo
Blackwood
Chanderpaul
Ramdin wk
Holder
Roach
Taylor/Gabriel
Benn
We might not "need" to play six batsmen against Bang but we're in the lead now...so not need to take the risk. Also want to see Blackwood and Johnson get some runs too.

Gayle's not injured...personal matter. But his absence leaves a big hole at the top of the order, now that Kirk's been retained. I would now be inclined to go for seven batsmen too....
Regardless of the change of personnel, it still highlights the inconsistency of selection. I see you're still pushing Holder, Afro, and he's still being ignored. Who doesn't like him? Ramdin?
