GROS ISLET, St Lucia – West Indies cricket will mark a special milestone on Saturday when the West Indies team plays its 500th Test match. The landmark will be celebrated when they take on Bangladesh in the second and final Dhaka Bank Test match at Beausejour Cricket Ground.

I have mixed feelings about this commemoration...we "celebrate" our 500th ranked eighth in the world, and we "celebrate" it by playing lowly Bangladesh, which is now one of the few teams we are able to beat.

we wanted to ensure a win for this match! who else can we play and have a 95% chance of victory? :D

A 1st test cap for Leon Johnson, the 300th player to represent WICBC in test matches.

Fifers for Benn and Roach.

100th the test wicket for Jerome Taylor.

Shiv Chanderpaul, 30 test centuries.
