The opponents being Bangladesh, I would simply give them all a pass mark, except Kirk Edwards.
Samuels and KP23 not inclusive as they've already been dropped...
What the selectors do with Shannon Gabriel will be observed with keen interest but those figures show no improvement.

Yeah, some serious licks await us on the tours of India and SA....
Talking of which, based upon the above, what would be your 15-man or 14-man squad to tour India?
For the Tests, that is....

Based upon our "successes" against Bangladesh, I don't see much change, aside from Kirk hopefully being finally dropped....
1) Chris Gayle
2) Kraigg Brathwaite
3) Leon Johnson
4) Darren Bravo
5) Shiv Chanderpaul
6) Jermaine Blackwood
7) Denesh Ramdin
8) Jerome Taylor
9) Kemar Roach
10) Suleimann Benn
11) Shannon Gabriel
12) Jason Holder
13) Shane Shillingford
14) a leggie
15) another batsman
For me, that leggie would have to be Bishoo...he's performed the best for the A team, and he has Test experience, and has played in the Subcontinent before. But who comes in as a batsman? There's not much to choose from....
To avoid the "force-ripe" disease that has affected our batsmen, I believe they need to prove themselves at various levels, before getting picked in the Test side. They need to excel at dung heap, and then they need to excel at A team level.
But only two batsmen made runs for the A team at home to the Bangladesh Reserves. If you struggle to make runs at home to a Bangla second XI, then how can you be expected to score runs in India?
So, that means a recall for someone...someone who can also add a little to the bowling.
To me, that's either Marlon Samuels or Dwayne Bravo....

I expect Narine to announce his retirement from Test cricket, once Lloyd insists that players must choose between playing at home to England and the IPL....Googley wrote:What not Narine for the India tour?
