Rules
Pick 11 players from across all the teams - however, because our batsmen are crap at playing spin, we have some restrictions on who you can pick. You can pick either six batsmen, one wicketkeeper, and four bowlers, or five batsmen, one wicketkeeper, and five bowlers. The amorphous definition of "allrounder" has been abandoned. The players are subdivided below:
No substitutions
Scoring system
Batting
1 point per run
+10 for a half century
+20 for a century (+10 for any additional half century)
If a batsman is not out after 50 = +10, after 100 = +15, after 200 = +25 etc....
Fielding
10 points per catch or stumping
20 points per run out, or 10 points each, if two players share the responsibility
10 bonus points for 3 contributions with catches, stumpings or run outs
Bowling
20 points per wicket
2 points per maiden over
+10 for 5 wickets in the match
+20 for 5 wickets in an innings
+30 for 10 wickets in the match
+50 for 10 wickets in an innings
+30 for a hat trick

Get your teams in before the first ball is bowled in the first match on November 14. However, if you miss that start date, you can still enter your team. All that will happen is that you won't be scored for the round you enter. For example, if you enter your team after the first ball has been bowled in Round One, you will be scored 0 points for that round for any team that has already started playing. But you will get points for any match that starts after you've entered your team.
This year, the time to change your 11-man team completely will be after Round Four finishes (December 8), so long as you do it before the first ball is bowled in Round Five (February 6). Failure to change your team will mean that your original team will be used for the entire competition. You will have a third chance to change your team, after Round Seven finishes (February 23), so long as you do it before the first ball is bowled in Round Eight (March 6).
Here are some factors to bear in mind when choosing your 11-man team:
1) The earlier rounds will clash with the Test tour of India.
2) If you want to take a risk, you can include players outside the respective squads, if you think they will get pay-for-play contracts.
3) This is a rule restricting the numbers of bowlers you select. You can pick more batsmen, and less bowlers, if you're crazy enough!
Good luck everyone.....
