Typo...of course it was Gabriel.
8-)
Cottrell is looking more and more like a left-handed version of Patrick Patterson - he can only bowl on one type of wicket.

The Third "Test"....

WEST INDIES A team
CR Brathwaite*, KC Brathwaite, ML Cummins, ADS Fletcher, ST Gabriel, J Blackwood, Jonathan Carter, Sunil Ambris, AB Fudadin, CAK Walton†, Dev Bishoo

Cottrell has quite rightly been dropped, and Shilly is injured, so he's been replaced by Bishoo. Ambris and Carter are in, while Kirk is out...what happened to him? Injury too?

Fudadin counters all the criticism with a century of 103, while Kraigg hit 75, but Blackwood, Carter, Fletcher and Ambris were all out in single digits.

WIndies A 239-6

Walton 16* Carlos 18*

A bit of a collapse this morning...all out for 282. Walton and Carlos were out in the 20s, and not much else to talk about.

It's nicely balanced at the halfway stage...SL 248-6.

Two wickets each for Bishoo and Carlos, and one each for Carter and Blackwood so far....

So, our A team lost the three-"Test" series 1-0...just as disappointing as our senior team, then.

How did they perform individually? I've set the batting and bowling pass marks as low as I could...35 for batsmen, and 30 for bowlers.

Kraigg Brathwaite - 209 runs @ average of 41.80 = GOOD

Jonathan Carter - 80 runs @ 40 = GOOD

Asad Fudadin - 191 runs @ 38.2 = PASS

Kirk Edwards - 92 runs @ 30.66 = FAIL

Chadwick Walton - 125 runs @ 25 = FAIL

Andre Fletcher - 83 runs @ 16.6 = BIG FAIL

Sunil Ambris - eight runs @ an average of four = MASSIVE FAIL

Jermaine Blackwood - 56 runs @ 11.2 & 4 wkts @ 25.75 = FAIL AND PASS

Nikita Miller - 61 runs @ 30.50 & 2 wkts @ 43.50 = FAIL

Carlos Brathwaite - 43 runs @ 8.60 & 5 wkts @ 25 = FAIL AND PASS

Shannon Gabriel - 12 wkts @ 19.08 = EXCELLENT

Miguel Cummins - 6 wkts @ 24.83 = GOOD

Shane Shillingford - 7 wkts @ 31 = FAIL

Dev Bishoo - 5 wkts @ 34.60 = FAIL

Sheldon Cottrell 0 wkts for 87 runs = MASSIVE FAIL

Ambris, Miller and Bishoo all only played one match, so deserve another chance. Gabriel did excellent, while Cummins, Kraigg and Carter did good, and Fudadin has finally answered his critics and earned a stay of execution. But Kirk, Walton, Fletcher, Blackwood, Carlos and Shilly were disappointing, and Cottrell couldn't take one wicket in two matches!

There were a lot of passengers on this A team tour....
