OUR FUTURE ATTACK LOOKS STUNNING!!

Postby AFRO » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:53 pm

Holder is SIX FOOT SEVEN to rhatid!!..and a COTR MEMBER to boot!!   , really proud of the yute, i said from the first time i saw him at the u19 world cup aged 18 that he was gonna be a superstar for us, and nothing i've seen since has changed, last season he was the best pacer in the group stages, and it's not just the fact that he can swing the ball, get bounce from a great height, good line and length etc but it's the fact that he keeps things very tight aswell, which is something that has driven me nuts when i've watched skunts like Fidel give away four ball after four ball!! ,

I believe he's gonna be the next Ambrose, i really do, i've been watching footage of both of them lately and the resemblance is incredible, Delorn too has really shocked me, he's clearly grown as a bowler over the past few years, Gabriel done well on his test debut but the difference between him and them two is Holder and Johnson can both move the ball side to side, Gabriel can't but i'm sure that will come in time,

With Roach looking brilliant and Narine already making waves i really can't wait to see how our attack looks like in the next few years, we could have a world class bowling unit if they develop the right way, and when you have a bowling unit that can take 20 wickets then you're always gonna be in with a chance of winning matches, just look at Pakistan? they were bowled out cheaply several times against England but due to their attack they still managed to sweep the series.

Roach
Holder
Johnson
Narine
Cotterrell
Carlos Brathwaite
Gabriel
Kantasingh

the list is endless, and i believe a few of those have the talent to go on and be all time greats for WI, namely Narine, Roach and Holder.

He hasn't proven himself in the longer form of the game yet, and the last time i saw him he was getting licks against Australia.

Clear now that Holder is ready and Johnson is well on his way forward.

the others in line must step it up or be left in the dust from these and Gabriel

the challenge is to find places for these in the attack.

Fidel is one and sammy by right shud be the next..gorne! :?

remember allyuh...Holder can bat well!

but I dont know about no COTR. dat name shud changed. is ah blite

Yep, that's going to be the ultimate challenge, i believe Brathwaite, Darren Bravo and Fudadin could have a bright future, we just need to find a few more to compliment them in the years to come, i know there are some GREAT talents coming through at u19s level, so lets just hope they fulfill their potential.
