looks like Corbin and Guillen are toast.

Bonner may survive.

I guess the batting had to be improved. but man! somebody really, really, really, really, really, really.....loves Kieran Powell! :x :x :x

Does this change strengthen or weaken the A team batting lineup? :?

As Afro knows, I've been saying for quite a while that both Kraigg and Powell should be in the A team, instead of playing Test cricket. It's a pity they didn't do this before the Tests against Australia, instead of destroying their confidence by pitting them against the Aussies before they were ready.

Beausejour has had quite a few games in the last few years.

Once this regime goes Beausejour might not see another game for a long time.

You also said Pagon should be in the test team!!..so clearly your assessment haven't always been the best!!   , Powell is playing this game because the team needed another opener after Simmons left and Gullien failed, this is good for the yute to play more cricket and learn from his mistakes, and like i said at the time dropping Powell and Brathwaite after they'd made runs in the last test vs India would have been stupid, Kraigg made a 50 in the first test vs Aus and you were singing a different tune then, i wonder why?

Another 50 from Kraigg in this last test and i'd expect his name to be in the squad to face NZ, then it will be a shoot out between him and Barath as to who gets to partner Gayle.

To me this team..

Powell
Brathwaite
Fudadin
Bonner
Carter
Pagon
Thomas (wk)
Holder
Permaul
Johnson
Bishoo

Should have more than enough to win the game, of course more runs should be expect and once that's the case the bowlers should be more than confident of getting the job done again, looking forward to seeing how Holder and Johnson go!!..both have taken 5fers in this series so we'll see who steps up this time, also hope Permaul can continue his good form too.

Afro...this team should be the team to play....but lemme play de Devil's advocate here and seh lets play Mclean fuh de last test juss to see how he will perform in this environment...afterall is juss an "A" team series...I don't care if Holder or Bishoo tek a break! 8-)

Don't even mention Holder you skunt!!! :D , anyone getting dropped it's your fellow guyana man BISHOO!!   .

I actually think that would be a good idea, Bonner hasn't bowled much in this series so he could partner Permaul in the spin department with his leg-breaks while Mcclean can be first change after Johnson and Holder are done with their spells.
