 St George’s, Grenada — The Selection Committee of the West Indies Cricket Board today announced a 13-man West Indies A Team squad for the three-match Digicel One-Day Series against India A at Queen’s Park Stadium in Grenada.

That's a damn strong team i think, one has to wonder though where is Bishoo? are they done with him now after his poor displays in the test games?

Well clearly it's gonna be a shoot out between Barath and Powell to see who partners Gayle for the NZ tests, hopefully they both put up good numbers, also it will be interesting to see how Kirk does after the nightmare he had in England, i wanna see if the man really has LEARNED from that experience and if he is willing to use his feet more now,

Fudadin also has a chance to send a message, i was impressed with his debut to be honest, even if he didn't score a huge amount of runs,

then we have the attack, i expect Holder and Johnson to continue their fantastic form and i'll be keeping an eye on Permaul aswell because there's rumours that he might be added to the test squad.

Just a few people i know saying that Gibbo might be going with two spinners against NZ and Permaul might compliment Narine better than Shilly!! ,

Nothing is confirmed yet but the selectors are apparantly impressed by how he's lead the A-team aswell,

As for Mohammed, well he done well in the last one day competition and even got a senior call up against India, he didn't impress but i guess they wanna include him in this squad and give him another chance.

I am only on on and off on both MB star...busy with Baseball (kids) and trying to survive playing cricket...

I took a break from Sars till dis T20 thing done...he should not play T20 but if Leics paying him to play....more power to him!!!

BTW....Hoggard and a few other senior players from de team did sit out de OZ game....big move by de Foxes management!!!
