Gibson confident of Windies chances as camp opens in Barbados PDF Print E-mail

Bridgetown, Barbados – West Indies have started their preparations in a bid to capture the International Cricket Council’s Champions Trophy 2013 title with a one-week camp in Barbados. Under Head Coach Ottis Gibson the Windies will go through their drills at Sagicor High Performance Centre at the 3Ws Oval.

With the start of the inaugural Caribbean Premier League tournament less than three months away, CPL officials have recently concluded a tour of the six franchise countries – Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago – meeting with Government Ministers of Sports and Tourism, cricket board executives, stadium management teams/owners and tourism authorities.
