Bridgetown, Barbados, April 5 – (www.bcacricket.org) – Middle order batsman Shamarh Brooks will captain Barbados in the final of the 2012 regional first-class championship against Jamaica at Sabina Park in Kingston, starting Friday, April 13.

Jamaica, Barbados final postponed PDF Print E-mail

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Four-Day Tournament cricket final between Jamaica and Barbados, has been postponed from this weekend, after it was discovered that the venue, Sabina Park, had previously been booked for another event this weekend.

JUDGING from their performances in this year’s West Indies Cricket Board’s Regional 4-Day tournament, the Shivnarine Chanderpaul-led Guyana national cricket team will fancy their chances when they face Jamaica in a semi-final encounter at Sabina Park from Friday. The team left yesterday afternoon for Jamaica and West Indies cricket fans everywhere welcome the return to form of discarded West Indies middle-order batsman Narsingh Deonarine, who is also  the regional run-scoring leader with 547 runs at an average of 49.72 with 6 half-centuries.

Best back in Barbados squad for regional first-class semi against T&T PDF Print E-mail

Bridgetown, Barbados, March 26 – (www.bcacricket.org) – Fast bowler Tino Best is back as the only change to the Barbados 13-man squad for their regional first-class semi-final match against Trinidad & Tobago at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain, starting Friday, March 30.
