The West Indies Women’s cricket team departed from Barbados on Saturday confident of doing well on the upcoming tour of India. The squad, led by Merissa Aguilleira, will play five One-Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals during the three-week trip.
This tour will be the first time playing in India for all members of the squad. Coach Sherwin Campbell said his players are focussed and will be looking to get better of their opponents, who are ranked higher on the International Cricket Council’s ODI and T20 tables.
