he is the best we have with the gloves. he will be back but he has to bat some more. let him focus on what he has to do to get his place back
I have no fear...but Ramdin is not a specialist batsman. I think we should ask all the batsmen to perform with the bat before the keeper.

tut tut! a tad defensive deh Bally!

things evolve dont deh? but in the case of keepers is not really evolve because keepers always had to bat.

back in the day deh tess cricket used to tolerate rabbit keepers but deh just arent tolerated anymore. every keeper westindies has ever had cud bat..or like Findlay the weakest one...was tossed.

look at history man and judge not just what the selectors are doing. I like Ramdin and I hope he settles with that bat. but I have to use what I know when reasoning out the matter myself.

it is pointless to have a keeper who is not scoring when your opposition throwing at you in the same position Dhoni, Prior, dat Oz keeper who can score tons in tess cricket jess so...or Sangkara and jaya the keeper.

Baugh and Ramdim, after players like Dujon, Deryck Muray, Jacobs etc ., are embarrassments...althouh why Ramdin has gone downwards with the bat is a real mystery

like Richardson before the doctors may be protecting their captaincy pick from players he cant handle. Marlon certainly would be one to avoid by the selectors in this instance. I doubt Marlon will be pik again as long as Sammy is captain.

and Thomas is a Dot. so is Fletcher but he has been tried already and found wanting.
Sammy can lead Edwards and Thomas without too much bother.

Ramdin and Marlon are a different story. their presence will not make /sammsy life any easier!
Correct is rite! Sammy want players below his standard so he can look good.

Why are they sending newbies at the highest level games on the world stage????

Why not Simmonds?? he can bat and keep wicket...and he is in excellent form!!!! Plus, he has exposure to the international level?

here is why...this means the more "experienced" Devon Shyte will play and Thomas will keep. More dotties in the playing side !
Edwards will not get a game

Why aren't we asking the bowlers to bat too? Which is more an embarrassment the batting, keeping or bowling compared to the 80s team?

why yu going so contrary to the way the game is played, teams selected?

a keepet bats at sevem if he can bat itrs distinct advantage to his team. so teams look fuh keeper bastmen at #7, the keepers bating position.

bowlers by nature of their place in the game, especially fast bowlers dont bat, dont need to bat long. but it is also an advantage if they can hold their own, especially when the batting chips are down.

rare is the fast bowler and top class spinner who can also score tons.

so we dont have to overturn the whole evolution of the game just becuase Ramdin cant bat anymore. hopefuly he can regain his batting skills which were considerable.

but yu cnt expect players who are doing better than him to be left out in his stead.

I dont know how devon thomas will do but in ODI a keepers batting is really crucial. I would have pik simmons myself but it is clear simmons is on the out with the wicb...with buttsy-clart in particular
