oh lawd! Devon smith cant bat...he cannot learn.
if a man is bowling leg breaks...which is all he can bowl apparently...wat are you doing so committed down the leg-line and being bowled off stump?
Devon was so commited leg-line, his face left side fully, inflexible, anticipating no turn. wat kind of batting is dat

lil Bravo showed him though. he have to floow the ball, know what the bowler is doing, get to the pitch, judge its pitch...not just lunge forward, down a line, bat and pat stuck together hoping for a feel, a connection.
even Gayle who has a lot of trouble with turning and swinging balls used his feet, or got back when the spinner marginally shortened, demonstrating he has a feel for length, and can play back as well as forward well enough...at least sometimes.
Devon is hopeless. teh man get comprehensivly bowled, playing his bat dead, rooted down the leg side, to a bowler spinning away from him.
deh shud open with Shive and bring in Russell fuh Devon!

the more I see dat bowl-down the more pissed I get with devon. the man cyar judge the length of the ball.
when yuh going forward to a spinner like dat you stretch right down to the pitch of the ball and smother the damm thing. you have to put your eyes on the ball, keep dem there and meet the ball as it hits the picth and smother it there.
if the ball welll up enough to bowl yuh den you shud be able to connect and kill it here.
if yuh eyes on the ball wat the rarse yuh doing all that way to the outside of you right pad searching for it? how come yuh miss the damm ball at all? you have to kill it before it turns which means you have to hit it as it drops.
the best way was to be driving dat ball at the pitch of it.. dats wat. it wud not have taken much to get to the pitch of it to be driving in attack or defense.
dat shot was the shot of an incompetent against spin...not the shot of a top class batsman who knows what batting is all about...an art Defvon shud be fully conversant with at this stage of his career.
Devon is not good thats all and should not be on the side! Devon is DHB! dung heap bully

devon Shyte, millah and all!
is Edwards worth a risk as opposed to devon?
