Newly appointed manager of the West Indies cricket team and former captain, Richie Richardson, is supporting Coach Ottis Gibson who, following the team’s 10-wicket loss to Pakistan and eventual exit from the ICC World Cup Cricket competition, had blamed senior players for the squad’s overall poor performance.
Gibson’s statement did not go down well with some senior players and, in particular, former captain Chris Gayle who twittered that “it is easy to blame the senior players, but difficult to accept the truth!!! Curse me blame me!!!!”
