balli, it is not professional to keep blaming your boss for you poor behaviour....real men stand up and are counted regardless of the situation!...dat is called ACCOUNTABILITY!
Did u hear what Reds Perreira said about Sarwan's behaviour under Sammy?....go a research it...it was said LIVE on air just now for all to hear.....he deliberately played below his capabilities to undermine sammy!...that is extremely unprofessional and he deserves what he gets from here on!....you can hate the many you work for/with, but professionalism dictates that you show some semblance of tact and decorum and do the job you are paid to do, and let the remaining issues iron themselves out.....
Sarwan dropped for the first two ODIs

sarwan played the arse during the last tour to Oz and deservedly got dropped for it I thought.
now that he has failed on return in the 'wurl skup' and has been dropped, there is some sort of case for the way he has been considered.
to me the mitigating factor in sars favour this time, is the Sammy captaincy and to a lesser extent the leadership of Gibson.
but the old Sars is desperately needed in this westindies team. and we can get that Sars again... he is only 30.
but we do not have a leadership in tune with getting everybody on stream
instead they have been setting up administrative dynasties at FR, dynasties in conflict with the players and the best interests of westindies cricket.....whose interests are careerist, bureaucratic, insular and destructive
in this regard the most awful, brown-nosing officials are employed by the wicb mafia, clearly because they suit they suit hunters empire-building..not necessarily the interest of westindies cricket

how did Reds determine that Sarwan deliberately played below his ability on the day? enquiring minds would like to know!
do you know Red Jala?
I see that man is still alive eh. he must be at least 85 years old that Reds. next time yu see Reds ask him abut Sir Errol Dos Santos. he must have known that man in his youth. they are the same kind of westindian.
and if you know what Dos Santos did to westindies cricket as the chair of the then wicbc you would know what I, at least, think of Reds.
by nature and class Reds,a Guyanese, can side only with the wicb regardless of what it is. that is the man. it is not sensible to take Reds Perreira seriously in just about anything he says when the status quo is challenged

well I used to read everything but I am not a likely buyer and reader of Reds book.BallOil wrote:Mapoui... Reds is selling his book... Guess he is doing the rounds for some extra PR.
there is very little I like about Reds. and I doubt very much there is much of anything he can say to me of interest. to anyone who knows westindian cricket for that matter.
Reds day was done actually when Frank Worrell became westindies captain. at least one can call him a survivor for he has held on irrelevant as he is all this time..50+ years, making a living.
it pays if you skin white or near white in the westindies.

If i remember correctly Sarwan scored 105 against India many many years back. Even in test series he played well against Kumble. He looked to be a promising player. Had ample time against pace bowlers too. Sadly he is just not up there at the moment. Neither is his form after the injury good.
