Dyson and King had been head coaches before they took the WI job and where did that get us? it cannot be denied that Gibbo has improved our bowlers!!.. which is why we made SL follow on and bowled out both England and India for decent scores to give our batsmen a good chance, all we need now is a BATTING COACH imo and we'd have a damn good set up, i hear the WICB are talking to someone so we'll have to wait and see,

If Gibbo loses the next two series then i may call for him to go too!!.. but he needs to be given more chances first imo.

p.s. i asked you who you want to replace Gibbo and you failed to answer!!...you're not running from the question are you? :lol:

The team is divided and what do you think the results will be? who created this mess?

are you ready to throw the yourngsters with no leadership in the Lions den?

"Divided" how? if certain players can't handle being dropped then TOUGH LUCK, the coach and selectors run the team, not the players!!.

Rather that than see OVER THE HILL SENIORS like Shiv stuggle at the crease and WI still end up losing!! :roll: .

yes, youngsters should come in gradually around proven players. This team currently selected have no batting but a long tail.

Don't worry about replacements, one job at a time. First, send Gibson packing ...

a coach is easily replaced, but replacing a top player is NOT! Think about it!

Is Gibbo a bully of a coach?

is he an abusive coach?

is he telling player A to go out there and perform so player B don't play again?

What is the team environment like?

Sorry but that's an extremely FEEBLE response i'm afraid, firstly of course it's good for the youngsters to come in around experienced players but whats the point when the "senior players" are FAILING and doing worse than the youngsters? for example Darren ran rings around Shiv in SL!! :mrgreen: ,

As for your last point, how can your calls for Gibbo to leave be taken seriously when you can't even name a competent replacement? i'm prepard to give Gibbo a chance but even i know who would be a good replacement for him if he left!! :lol: .

But that's not good enough!!..we rid him and then WHO do we get to take over the reigns? or do you think the players can play without a coach? :mrgreen:
