Ganga is indeed a much better option than Sammy!
Nanan is absolutely right in a comparison with sammy... save in one area: will the players at the top take to Ganga!

I am watching an interesting situation develop here I know is on everbodys mind but no one is talking about it!

From one of my earlier posts I for one support Rangy Nanan's opinion. As for whether or not the players 'at the top' will 'take to' him I don't quite understand ...? If the concerned parties take an objective look at all of the available candidates and conclude that at this time Darren's leadership abilities ought to be given a chance at the helm of the WI team and any player doesn't want to play under Darren then said player can announce himself unavailable for selection!

There is NO objectivity in West Indies cricket. There is NO method to this madnesshowzdat wrote:From one of my earlier posts I for one support Rangy Nanan's opinion. Hi Jala, there was a part of my earlier post that i decided to delete to keep things short. However based on your feedback I will mention it here briefly. If there are some extenuating reasons for which Darren Sammy can be made captain then the same principal can be applied to a trial appointment of Ganga. West Indies need a captain of demonstrated ability in the role. Of the captains in the caribbean I think that Ganga has demonstrated sufficient leadership skills and also experienced success in the role - locally and internationally - that he fits the bill.jala wrote:hhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...oh lawd!....this from the same ppl who seh the captain must earn his place in de team....hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
He has also played test cricket before - a distinct advantage over many other candidates. He has also scored hundreds at test level - something that on current evidence Sammy will not do in this series against Pakistan.
If you care to, kindly support your view that Darren Ganga is as equally undeserving as Sammy? Thanks
