good idea...bnut why is it a good idea and not actually wicb policy to have a decent friendly and positive relatiohsip with its players...westindians like themselves.

the way Hunte and dem behave its like the players are 3- fingered, horned aliens.

it mus' be hard for the players concerned even if deh making more money than the wicb paying them. its hard to be in demand and cyar take easily, opposed to a choice dat also mus' have serious emotional baggage..to make the money or be loyal to home.

there is much risk in taking the wicb money in their circumstances, especially the fact that the wicb is a dishonest and corrupt organisation. it is easier for the players with no option but to take it.

in this case I look at Gayle Bravo and Pollard with sympathy even as deh make some bucks. good for them. were I the wicb I would allow them to, and develop a means to have then integrated into the westindies team anytme we needed them
come on MAps...there is a contract...if the players don't like it then let the WICB correct it so both party have a clear handerstanding of their obligations :)

well I dont care if here is a contrat or not, if deh sign one or not. I jess take into consideration the overall situation and work with it to the benefit of all paries involed...the players, the wicb, the westindian fan base.

we want to see gayle, Pollard and Bravo in he team. we understand deh have opportuity to make a lot of money given their demand and we should not in anway prevent them from so maxing out their opportunity.

we should work out ways in which the rules allow them to play in the world and still play for the westindies when we need them...whether it is contractual or not....whatever way it is handled their earnings must not be attenuated.

and we must do this for all players who so find themselves with opportunity outside the region.

my argument is that this should never have been allowed to develop into an adversarial issue. these are westindian with oportunity in the world. the westindies are not exactly dripping with opportunity for its young men are they?

and if these players bring back millions of dollars to the region there is always the chance that would help far beyond themselves and family, help make things better all-round however much.

I dont see that there is any reason at all in a pracical sense for there ever to be adversaries between the wicb and the players unless the wicb is like a forrin class of people, parachuted into the westindies and as strangers behave as if hey have to keep the natives in control and well-discilined by force.

but that is the way it appears our elites have always been, though they are blac and brow-skinned and share the westindian formative social expeience it appears their part trains them to be actual stangers in the region, as if their culture and that of the rest of the westindain people are mutually exclusive and hostile entities

Well here is what Hilaire seh about this....
"But let's take it from the initial premise, would you hire a security guard if he couldn't guarantee you he will always come and secure your place for you at nights?" said Hilaire

Hilaire wants guarantee to always have a security guard to come and secure his place at night

that is a totally irrelevant analogue. it is pointless and hostile, accurately discriptive of the antagonistic relationship the wicb engages in with the players.

thats what i am saying! the wicb relationship with the players would be, they thought like westindians of all classes should be thinking relative to nationalistic questions, they would thinks as facilitators, bringing about the best situation possible for all parties concerned...players, administration, the nation.

when Hilarie talks lke that he exposes himself for the anti-nationaist, destructive entity he is. that is why things are as they are.

like pelters who cannot change so too are the wesindian elites unable to change their spots. the people must not bother about changing their spots but removing them from the spot they in...in chage of westindian society

Quite frankly, I don't think Big Bravo deserves a contract....

I think Jimmy Adams summed it up perfectly when asked if he'd like to see him in the first Test next week, said, "If he's bowling like this, then, no."

Prior to his injury, Big Bravo was bowling in the 83-86mph, and after the op, he's in the mid-to-high-70s, so right now, he's little better than Sammy.
