And he's a young man who's always expressed great pride in playing for WI, a young man who fights hard for WI whether it's with bat or ball and deserves his place in the team!!.. his name is KEMAR ROACH!!, you see him at crease again today? he did the same thing in SL when we were in trouble in the last Test, he also battled desperately in the world cup Quarter finals too!!, this is a yute who KNOWS what he's doing with the bat, unlike the Clappo skunt!! ,

The yute also speaks very well in the media aswell!!.. i see a natural leader right there, it wouldn't surprise me now if he plays a huge role in getting us back into the game when Pak bat too!!..despite the track being more conducive to spin!!.. GWAN ROACHY!! 8-) .

I think you might be on to something here Afro. This yute hasn't put a foot wrong since his emergence at the international level. Even when he's in a bit of a rut in form (as he was in the ODIs) he still keeps his head up and gives his all when called upon.

He, Darren and Bishoo are just a glimse of the 'new' WI IMO. We just need to find a way to get rid of these other good-for-nothings and phase in the other talented and hungry youths waiting in the wings.

Hold tight! ;)

man I have been through all this talk before. it was always a time when it was necessary to phase in the hungry yutes in westindies over the past 16 years.

nutten will change unless the current bass ackwards westindies rights itself around.

what the rass is this providence pitch taking spin on the first day...lots and lots of spin when westindies is deperate against spin...all up the dots, struggling even at kensington when the conditions werent so favourable to spin?

this is impossible! dis cyar be real! how de rarse this can happen?

ever since cricket start at Providence the wicket dead. now suddenly for Pak is spin, spin and more spin. and look at westindies..caught napping with 1 spinner and 3 pace types

who is repsonsible for this?

allyuh cyar be serious! I go take westindies seriously with every part of the region now pulling against the centre it seems...with the centre stating the shit by putting its own in place of the more worthy from elsewhere.

WHO MAKE A SPIN FRIENDLY PITCH IN GUYANA? WHERE JALA? MAYBE HE KNOWS!

Actually, no! Definitely not any time in the near future. What I'm saying is that those three (3) young bloks mentioned have come into the team, and from the get-go they have shown 'leadership' in terms of the high level of their performances. They haven't cowered from any challenge thrown their way thus far! No doubt, they still have a lot to learn but the early signs are very encouraging. ;)

Spot on Cuffman!!.. these "seniors" don't have anywhere to hide anymore!!.. these yutes are embarrassing them right now and the funny thing is some of the better ones (Brathwaite, Hughes, Alleyne, Corbin, Hamilton, Carlos Brath, Holder, Amir Khan etc) haven't even made their debuts yet!! , these yutes will force out them failures sooner rather than later though!!.. it's just a matter of time.

If it means Sammy is out of the team? ABSOLUTELY!!.. i see leadership qualities in young Kemar, a captain is the one who TAKES RESPONSIBILTY when your team needs you, but for Kemar today we probably would have been taken out for 180, but now we've hung on till the close of play on 209 with a chance of making 220-230 tomorrow, and on that track that's pretty decent imo, the yute is quite simply A FIGHTER, he's got all the supposed "passion" Sammy does but the difference is Kemar actually makes an impact in this team.

Afro et al, don't count your chickens before they are hatched... Most FC bullies failed to make the transition from curry goat to international cricket.

Call come names....doh pussyfoot around it. show some side by stats to support your cheap talk :)

Brathwaite is 18 and averages 39 already

Hughes is 20 and is averaging 40 in COUNTY CRICKET

Hamilton is 20 averaging 30 despite being a wicketkeeper

Brathwaite took 26 wickets in his FC debut and also three wickets against Pakistan in a warm up match

Amir Khan (18) is the best young spinner in the region IMO and took three wickets against Pak the other day,

I COULD NAME 30 NAMES!!.. but the fact remains that we've got some serious talent coming through!!.. the kind of talent that will force your man Shiv to retire shortly to rhatid!! .
