Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo is poised to make his Test debut in front of his home fans and being the lone spinner in the team.

Considering the way this track has looked today i think Bishoo is gonna be a major influence in this match!!, i can just see him have a big spell that could put this game in our favor!! :mrgreen: .

But it is Bishoo, that wonderfully ballsy, smart and gifted legspinner who must be watched, if for no other reason than that he is the first genuinely attacking spinner the hosts have had in a while. He has a touch about him, an ability to bring about moments and on suitable surfaces, can really break a ball. Frankly Pakistan are awful against most kinds of spin and only Misbah seemed to play him with any comfort. His tormenting of Salman in the third ODI was more reflective of how Pakistan struggled against him; beware the zippy flipper that eventually did for Salman in that game.

When is the last time a WI spinner took 5 wickets on his debut ?

Sammy took 7/66 on his debut---but he is slow medium.

Excellent debut thus far by Bishoo.

Thanks Bally!

Perry had a 5 wicket haul in his first test against Australia----his 5 wicket haul was in the 2nd innings----the WI won that test at Sabina Park.
