westindies cricket can no longer survive without a real nation behind it. there will be revolution, integration, nation... or there will be no cricket anymore.
the best we can hope for is a to be a souce of talent for the international big bashers.
the wicb may be able to maintain something of a regional game but they must become the opposite of what they are to even conceive of anthing of the sort.
the wicb can turn around and use the money to be earned by the players on the world stage as a means of keeping the westindies afloat and a viable team representing the region. use the money by clearing the way for allowing the players to earn it for themelves and so be available to westindies cricket
but the wicb is a completely asshole thing that is unaware of its real situation in the world. and de wicb are of an intelletual constitution that does not allow them to reason in ways that can produce sopisticated and up to date analysis of the reality with which they must deal routinely and successfully.
deh have entombed westindies cricket as a result, locked it down with nowhere to go save interneccine warfare.

West Indies cricket has been going nowhere fast the past decade!
Check the stats---the West Indies has been winning, at most, 1 test match per year.
In 2011 they won the test in Guyana---dont expect any more wins this year; in 2010 they did not win a single test; in 2009 they won 1 test agaisnt England.....
Check the stats---this West Indies team has been dead for years.
