its a new day in the westindies. the old day is dead yet still trying to hold on. dead rass man walking.

what Hunte, Hinaire and company represent is the worst of the old stinking westindies, still trying to RULE, to work with westindians to produce a developed society, on merit, democracy, prosperity.

there is absolutely nutten in the established way that is useful. all is now exposed..how the old way flecces all the people of the world by banking, and the use and threat of american military intervention to uphold the criminal process...crime against humanity financial system.

that is the old way..the social process hunte and dem represent. there is no prosperity in dat for anyone. there is bo hope in that for anyone no matter wat skunt sick, hopey changey psycopath Obama says and does.

if the people really rise there is a guillotine waiting for Obamas neck somewhere up the road.

dat system cyar wuk no more. the wesindies needs a new way. inclusive of all the people, the construction of a unified comunity, democfractic and focused on the development of the westindian people.

that shud be the princile of approach by the wicb to cricket. instead deh are playing a most short-sighted, jackass, incompeetnt, illogical, stupid game.....a game for the 17 century not a process for 2011.

the utter uselessness of this wicb is absolutely clear. they will produces finally the complete destruction of westindies cricket and leave african interst in the game in the westindies in tatters.

dat is what those african men at factory road is accomplishing. the westindies has no future but an inclusive multiracial democracy. we ought to be about creating that future now, not farting around in insular, power-hungry narrow-mindedness

and please ....if there is going to be reform leave people like Sir Viv out of it.

Viv Richards is as insular as Hunte and Hillaire. Viv is also very narrow-minded iodeologically despite his former rastafarianism

there are people up the dots like Andy Roberts who has expressed a true westindianims all his life. there is Eldine baptisete a very gregarious sort who is a smart individual. Curtley Ambrose is also very westindian, a a smart, strong person

all of these and more from up the Dots can make postive contributions to the westindies. But I dont think Viv can. he wud make things far worse than they already are. but I am afriad becaause of his name and achievements he would be well in line to be called up in any attempted reform of the process.

dat wud be a mistake.

If Shiv Chanderpaul(9126 test runs at 49.06 average) does not raise his test average to 50+ by the end of the Indian series he will be dropped by the WICB.

Marlon Samuels(a huge 28.84 average after 30 tests) is ready, willing and able to replace Shiv(an ordinary 49.06 average after 130 tests).

GOOD LUCK SHIV!

Looks like Shiv told them what they wanted to hear.

Once again, this may very well be Shiv's last series----unless he can get his average above 50---he'll be a goner.

last series? Don't think so... Shiv is only 36 yrs old. Most of the batsmen on the team struggling to average half or about there of Shiv's average of 49.06.

Simmons 18
Barath 28.5
Samuels 28.8
Baugh 18
Sammy 17

Who is knocking on the Tiger's door?

Yep BallOil, if they drop Shiv with no competent replacement in sight it would definitely be a case of poor judgement on the part of the selection panel. Chanderpaul is the glue that the WI team needs in the batting lineup. Nash shapes up as having some of the qualities to play the same role but he hasn't the experience.

Dropping Shiv now would be like jumping out of a plane without a parachute - and we all know that the WI middle order has been vulnerable for a good decade now. They need to appoint an understudy to Shiv. Going back in time WI had Larry Gomes who was a class player in a different mould to the 'master blasters' in the lineup around him. But he was a player confident in his own technique and ability and he also knew his role in the team. So who is there knocking on the door to replace Shiv?

skansh is also in his 34 year..and dat appears to bother no one. yet shive, 2 years older with an almighty record bothers the hell out of everybody.

I am lookinfg forward to sknash being off the team and back in Oz as soon as gayle rejoins. sknash is just an ordinary player...a very ordinary one when the condtions give the bowlers a chance

there shud be no problem at all with shives selection. when shive wasnt scoring the wicbs attitude shud have been one of wroking with him to get back into groove...knowing how productive the groove is..not one of disparagement and threat of drop.

shives ia loss to lament not one to celebrate..especially as some here have pointed out the cuboard for such quality is bare in the westindies.

we a lot of players but no Viv, Lara and Shive looming
