I really don't understand our selectors....

If they'd looked properly at the series against Pakistan, they would've noticed that Samuels made a half-century in one Test match, while the trio of Nash, Sarwan and Bravo all failed to make a single half-century in two matches. Logic dictates that Samuels stays, and one of the trio makes way, but no, the selectors have to punish Samuels for daring to shake hands with that pariah Gayle. In effect, the selectors are cutting off their noses to spite their face, and it is WI fans who suffer from this petty stupidity.

Day 2 Lunch:
West Indies 119/5 Chanderpaul 9*, Baugh 12*.
BOWLING : Kumar 15-5-24-3, Sharma 11-4-17-2, Mishra 9-0-36-0, Harbhajan 11-2-38-0.

India 250
So another absorbing session of play. On a turning wicket, ironically, all the five wickets have been taken by India's faster bowlers. Praveen Kumar has made a good Test debut with three wickets in that spell before lunch, undoing a patient and fighting fifty from Adrian Barath. As usual, it is now down to Shiv ChanderWall, as one of the feedbacks today called him

We are turning the corner no-stop. Otherwise known as going in circles.

56.2 Harbhajan Singh to Baugh, OUT, Harbhajan strikes. He hasn't been great today, but this is bowled well. Scrambled seam, fullish, there is some drift, Baugh defends at it uncertainly, and it hits his pad first, and then takes the bat through to silly point

Sharma to Sammy, OUT, Is there reverse? Ishant his the ball this time after seeing the previous ball jag back in, and bowls it real full, and the ball swings in. And yes, towards the shiny side. Sammy is loose, and the ball goes through the gate. Real smart thinking from Ishant. And with that wicket, Shiv has seen more wickets fall at the other end than any other batsman in the world

DJG Sammy b Sharma 1 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR: 9.09

Can Sammy really be called an all-rounder any longer?

wats missing is any sense of unity and confidence in this westindies team. no matter wat sammy does nto inspire confidence in his team...or deh have no faith in him.

the team has no confidence in its administration. no one on dat team cud love Hunte, Hilaire, Richardson, Tony Howard..even Gibson.

gibson may have done a few things dat have benefits for the players...see rampaul! but hGibson appears to be a personality that few can like

Haynes as batting consultant?

I doubt many like him too given the personailty one can dectect by wat we know publicly of him so far.

this is the absiolute worst administration ever to come together to run westindies cricket. I am certain deh are having a devastating effect on the team.

and again a terrble wicket for the westindies to play on. it played great for the ODI but look at it now.

who is making these wickets the way they are? what in the hell for?
