The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has written to Chris Gayle, stating it remains available to meet and resolve the latest impasse over his exclusion from the national team. Gayle wasn't picked for the series against India owing to differences with the board, including over a widely-publicised radio interview with KLAS Sports where he strongly criticised the WICB. The rift appeared to intensify after a heated meeting - which also involved West Indies Players' Association president Dinanath Ramnarine - on June 14 with the board, but both parties have since expressed a willingness to reconcile.

isnt the wicb a wasteful, useless, childish skunt of a thing?
why in the EFF are they wasting so much time over this one, really non-issue?
Gayle being important to the westindies cause, deh shud have solved the situaiton quickly as to get back to normal post haste, and give the team a winning chance
but no..deh create the fcuking problem and keep dragging the effing thing out so wastefully, so loooooong!

Gibson is the perfect coaching type, enigmatic behaviourally, intellectually, trouble from start to finish, controversial, a bully in his own right...and a brown-noser... which he must be to keep his job.
Gibson in himself, is one major example why I regard head coaches in cricket to be a total waste of time and good money. Gibson does absolutely nothng useful in his capacity as head coach...nothing a proper captain cannot . all he does is cause trouble.
but yu call a meeting and eff up. now you call another one and all the while westindies losing. and you cause the problem in the first place.
