At the time it was the 3rd fastest test hundred:

Shiv's 69 ball test hundred at Bourda

Balloil should have this video posted at the shiv site.

first time i seeing that...lovely batting by the Shivster. makes you wonder why he don't bat that aggressive more often.

Shiv has done himself a great disservice in tests with his overly defensive approach.

Check this:
After 131 tests, Shiv faced 21,620 balls and scored 9179 runs---that's a strike rate(9179/21620) of 42.45---his average is 48.82

If Shiv could have been slightly more aggressive---if let's say he had a strike rate of 45.45 instead of 42.45---inotherwords if he had scored 3 more runs for every 100 ball he faced---his stats would have read like this:

After 131 tests, facing 21620 balls---Shiv has scored 9826 runs---a strike rate of 45.45---his average 52.26
So if Shiv had chosen to be slighly more aggressive---scoring a mere 3 more runs every 100 balls he faced----he would have scored 649 more runs and his average would have been 52.26 instead of 48.82

SHIV COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT BATSMAN---had he chosen to be a little more aggressive.

Instead Shiv is ending his career as only a very good batsman.

I was hoping Shiv would raise his test average to 50+----but after seeing him bat against Pakistan and India in the current series----I am now confident he'll end his career in the high 40s
