there are quite a few players in the wings the selection of sammy raises questions about...Roach, Russell, taylor, Gabriel, Pascal, Tonge, Benn, Permaul, a couple of the kids from the under-19s

yet sammy has done a good job and there is no leader-type to replace him among the .

the only possibility of a leader I see in the wings is Ganga who fits our current need for an experienced opening batsman if gayle is done. but ganga must open..not bat in the middle.

but there is baggage and problems with ganga too and I am only 50/50 on his return.

let me suggest that it is time yu begin to look at sammy with a wider scope, rather than to continue blasting him with an absolute brush. he look there to stay for a while.

shive is out as cappo possibility although out of respect he shud be vcapp. and sarwan has been. a great disappoinment indeed and prolly wont be back, unless he reconstitutes himself in dung heap. he is totally out of the captaincy stakes

What about giving the captaincy to Baugh for the Bang series and see how that goes? imo if we could have someone down the order who can add some runs and take wickets like Bravo or Russell then we'd be in a much better position, just imagine this..

That top eight is more than capable of batting well imo, we all saw how good a batter Russell was in the one day series, he looked more comfortable against spin than anyone else in the team and his ball striking was fantastic.
