Well the spinners continue to mash up di place, i talked about the amount of damage the left-arm spinners was doing in this competition and that trend has just got out of control now!!.

Larry Edward= got another 5fer

Anthony Adams= 5fer

Motie-kanhai= 3 wickets

Derone Davis= 4fer

And thats just the left-arm spinners!! , then we have the others

Amir Khan (leggy) = 6fer

Chaim Holder (offy)= 3 wickets

Kraigg Brathwaite (offy)= 4fer

So just like at senior level the spinners are toying with these batsmen!! , there were some other shining lights though!!.

Kaveem Hodge is on 155 not out, he's a huge talent this kid and many people expect big things from him, he's currently a WI u19 player and is on the verge of playing for the Winward senior team, seeing batsmen get tons is what i wanna see, other players like Ambrise and Hemraj are also scoring very well which is also encouraging,

Another highlight is the performance of a Leewards pacer called Nino Henry, the kid worked his ass off and got himself a 5fer, which makes him only the second pacer to do so after Justin Greaves's 7fer in the first round for Bim.

No play on opening day in all three U19 matches

Overnight and morning rain washed out play on the opening day in all three fourth round matches in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship yesterday. An inspection at Everest, venue for current leaders Jamaica to face Leeward Islands, took place about half-hour prior to the regularly scheduled tea break, and the umpires felt that conditions had not significantly improved.

The matches at the Demerara Cricket Club, where second-placed Trinidad & Tobago were to play third-placed Barbados, and Bourda Oval, venue for hosts and second-placed Guyana to meet reigning champion Windward Islands, were abandoned in the first half-hour after the scheduled lunch interval.

Rain battered the capital for the last two days, and the prospects of play at all three venues had always appeared bleak. link
