What the feck do you mean "anything is better than being under Otis watch"?BallOil wrote:Good for Roach on his county contract... Anything is better than being under Otis watch![]()
He might actually learn a few things from the Brits' pros..

As for the news, well i'm absolutely delighted for him, and one thing that's crazy is Kemar's career is following the same path as Dale Steyn's!!

Now that's Roach and Darren Bravo who've been signed to county teams this week, will there be anymore? Bishoo? Edwards? Russell? i hope so.

and... Roach regressed while Ottis busy fighting and blaming seniors. What Roach did lately eh?
Why don't you act as the agents for these youngsters? I know you would talk the Brits ears off... I think Russell needs a contract cause as long Sammy in the team Russell will be warming the bench.

So every player has to be in top form in EVERY series? what about Tendy? him looking good right now? what about Singh? the man has taken 400 wickets and look at him now? THAT'S JUST THE WAY THE GAME GOES, Bishoo, Rampaul, Russell and Edwards have all excelled under Gibbo's leadership, so your point isn't valid imo,BallOil wrote:and... That's good news about Roach....
Hopefully, this experience will help him to learn how to bowl in English conditions. We've had players like Darren Powell and Pedro Collins who went over to county cricket, and had mediocre returns, while Corey Collymore continues to do well in county cricket. These guys were at the end of their careers when they took on county contracts, so hopefully Roach, at the start of his career, will learn from this experience the way the great WI bowlers learnt from their experiences in England.
