Having read the full article I see that Darren is alleged to have said: "It is a great feeling to be nominated. I was a bit surprised. It has been my first full year in international cricket and I am being listed in that sort of category, so it is special to me. I am thanking the lord for this and hopefully I get the award," says Bravo.
Well all I have got to say is "nice one" in tones similar to that heard on the song "Kinky Reggae" by the late, great Bob Marley. imho Darren has plenty of work to do! On the international scene he would do well to take note of the attainments of someone like Alastair Cook. Darren has played eight tests todate against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India for an average of 39.84. He has not set the record books alight yet! So whether win or lose I hope Darren can buckle down and convert his talent into greatness.

The emerging player award goes to Davendra Boshoo. Well done to him. Dare I say that winning awards is not the purpose of sporting participation, but the consequence of excellence at sport. I wish both of these players long careers in which they excel at their respective disciplines. My grandmother used to say, "softly, softly catchee monkey" or as the horse-racing commentator would say, "Davendra Bishoo came through on the rails almost unseen". Nice One!

Share what Bally? Bishoo did more to show what an Emerging player is all about....The best man did win this award...Lil B better be accustomed of being the "best man".....“I think it will be very tough because all the others have performed pretty well. It is about their hard work as well and congratulation to them as well for being nominated.
“Someone like Devendra Bishoo has put in a tremendous amount of hard work since he has come in. So may the best man win.”

Suh yuh think that by Bishoo sharing his award will boost Lil B confidence? Look man let him go and earn his own rasshole award....Share would give both of em confidence but Big pu**y el at done them selecting.

Bishoo made a more significant impact than Lil B plus Lil B was used as a PAWN to try to get rid of SARS...little did they know dat looking GREAT does not convert into RUNS....

Yuh see how I stay right? I would love to see Lil B develop into the superstar we all think he can be but when the WICB decide to take the step they are taking and at the expense of QUALITY players that made them still relevant, I have no choice but to do what I am doing....
