Fast bowler Jerome Taylor says he continues to be in doubt about the reason for his continued omission from the West Indies team.
Taylor has not played for the West Indies since the fifth one day international against South Africa on June 3, 2010 and has suffered from injuries since then including sitting a portion of the regional 4-day competition earlier this year with a slight back injury.
But the St. Elizabeth native says there has been limited communication with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) about his readiness for international cricket.
"I’m in doubt not knowing what is the problem, there’s not much communication to and from, so I’m here trying to concentrate on Jamaica cricket right now. Whatever is happening in the West Indies I cannot jump over (people’s) heads and do what I have to do," Taylor said. Read more
in this age of all the various forms of communication, they can't reach out to Taylor?

I dont know mike! Taylor has been so often injured I have sympathy for the selectors as far as his selection goes.
I read somewhere Butts said that taylor has been told he wont be selected again until he can demonstrate a level of fitness that convinces the selectors that he can go without getting injured as often as in the past
it does not look good for taylor. lots of fast kids on the horizon. Edwards is back and we shud get his best years over his next 3. Rampaul got the message and is now the real deal.
then there is the sammy captaincy we are not likely to be rid off in a hurry..a selection that causes real difficulty in team selection as far as the pace attack goes.
Taylor is about 25-27. he shud be approaching his best years. he will have to do real well to get back in...tear up dung heap next year to make his exclusion impossible.
