That said, Pollard's gone for lots of runs, so Sammy might not have fared much better....Silvamaine wrote:Maybe so mike, but to be fair, i was making more of a generalisation of the team on paper, not particularly for this match. We all know that fast-bowlers in the sub-continent have to bowl with great control and accuracy, otherwise they will disappear around the park. Sammy's type of nagging medium-pacers would be more suitable here.mikesiva wrote:It's probably a bit early to talk about the balance, silva, because so far Roach is showing that he's a bit expensive, and not really an improvement on Sammy....
Bishoo gets the wicket of Tamim caught behind!
Good reply by the Banglas, they're building a steady platform for a possible assault in the last 15 overs. Roach, Russell and Pollard have been expensive, but Samuels, Bishoo and Rampaul have kept it tight. Depending on how the momentum goes between Overs 30-40, should give us a indication of which way the match is going. This could go to the wire like the T20, a few days back.
It's a pity Roach hasn't exactly stepped up to the plate.

Russell bowls Nasir!
Rampaul bowled out his 10...I wonder who will bowl now.
