Russell...

But what an ending to the match I missed!
Congrats to HPC for making such a valiant defence of that low score.

Jamaica really need to improve their batting for tomorrow's final....They need Gayle to bat at least 25 overs...

Well, Jamaican was very lucky in getting a victory! They batted very poorly!
however, this does not serve well for TnT!!
Why?
That close game was a wake up call for Jamaica! Plus, Gayle is due for a big score!
Watch out TnT!! the Gayle force is coming!

LOL"Gayle force"? NARINE GINE SEND HIM RASS BACK TO THE PAVILION EARLY AGAIN!!Googley wrote:Well, Jamaican was very lucky in getting a victory! They batted very poorly!

I highlighted the big problem for them already, which was they only had three proper batters, when the HPC first started it's main focus was on the bowlers, which is why the team is stronger in that department, in the next batch it's imperative that they have a more balanced side, if they do then i can see them winning a competition very soon, the HPC are hear to stay and i'm delighted about it, it's gonna become similar to the CCC and it's been badly needed for ages, not only does it give youngsters a chance to play First Class cricket but it adds another team into the mix who can possibly challenge the big boys like Jam and Trinidad,
Another thing i'm happy about is that such a dramatic game was on ESPN for the world to see, to have such a nail biting contest bodes well as far as the TV executives go, it's much better to have a tight contest than to have had HPC blown out of the water quickly, which is something i feared when they were batting so poorly at the start.

Tomorrow's game will depend on how long Gayle stays at the crease.....plain and simple...Not only Jamaica, but almost all the batsmen cannot seem to cope with any SPIN bowlers....
7 of the top 10 wicket takers so far are Spinners....That says a lot!

Narine can have his wicket after that!

Di funny ting was Gayle tried to hide from him early on, and as soon as he faced him he was GAWNNNNNNNNNNN!!..i expect a similar story tomorrow!!
