Kirk might not have the technique of a Darren Bravo, but he more than makes up for that lack of technique with a determination not to get out.

I see the differences between the two differently. Darren Bravo's batting displays an abundance of flair but not enough 'love for crease occupation'; and from his performances I question whether he has a price in runs that he himself puts on his wicket. Edwards has tonnes of grit, appears to knows his game and has now made test centuries home and away.

I dont want to go so far as to say that Bravo has no technique but to me he hasn't yet managed to exert the discipline necessary to bring technique and flair together to the crease as a unit.

Spot on... Congrats to Kirk! He is making much of his opportunities He batted patiently last night got his reward.

I would like to see him against quality opponent though for us to get a fair assessment of him.

man. lil Bravo is not encoraging at this time for that very reason. he has no head on his shoulder.

he has to grow one fast before his lack of sense catches up with him. he will be 23 next year.

a sensible young man of lesser ability comes in and in 3 tests surpases lil Bravo by miles, du to common sense and determination.

lil Bravo ie very much a prima donna
