I believe in the long run we'll benefit big time from the experience Powell and Brathwaite are getting right now, as for Barath, well he's gonna have to work to get in the side now, his constant injuries are starting to get boring, and when he's played he's not shown his true class, if he starts i hope he finds some form.BallOil wrote:No Gayle? Same squad in Bangladesh minus Simmons.. .hmm

India is a tough tour for both KB and Powell. Let's hope they can recover when them leave india. Without no resistance nor experience at the top, India could be in the tail sooner than you think. We had proven players that went to India and couldn't cope the the Indians at home. Look at the Aussies, Pomms, SA, et al..AFRO wrote:I believe in the long run we'll benefit big time from the experience Powell and Brathwaite are getting right now, as for Barath, well he's gonna have to work to get in the side now, his constant injuries are starting to get boring, and when he's played he's not shown his true class, if he starts i hope he finds some form.BallOil wrote:No Gayle? Their bowling attack isn't that great imo, Khan is injured, Sharma is carrying an injury, Singh has been dropped and Kumar rested, so we might have a better chance than people expect, also NZ drew two tests in India not that long ago so if they can do it then we certainly can aswell.BallOil wrote:

No real surprises in this squad....
At least all the players in the squad have already had match practice in Bangladesh. Chris Gayle and Sunil Narine were never realistically going to get called up to the Test squad.

correct! I could not see Narine getting called up. Of course the whole statement withdrawal thing was just to keep the fans quiet.mikesiva wrote:No real surprises in this squad....
