How many of these players represented WI this year and how many county matches they played?

What about the previous years, where current WI players played county the same year?

Three of them represented WI today and some of the others played in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!..

So what do you have to say about the facts i provided on the link where i compared the amount of games our players have played this year to the England squad? you want comment on dat? or is di truth too much to handle? .

The point is and what is missing from your view is....Our (WI) regional tournaments need to be longer hence the competition WITHIN and not away from de WI....if the players played more against each other would that nat force the competition among them and increase the talent growth?

As for your other point, county teams only played five more four day games than CCC and Jamaica this year, so IT'S NOT THAT BAD, there's only eight teams in the competition so the only way i see the WICB extending it is by inviting two foreign teams into it like they did with England lions this year, BUT THAT CAN COST MONEY, money that could be invested in our youngsters instead.

We need de additional two teams from the Caribbean plus we need to rid ourselves of some current FC players that are juss mekking up numbers...We also need to utilize good talent that cannot mek their regional team...look at TnT and Jamaica depth currently and tell me how many talented players are sitting on the sidelines...Bottom line is if something is not done, we will never know what these players are capable of cause they will surely QUIT the game...

THAT'S WHY THE HPC IS IN PLACE YOU SKUNT!! , a new batch is gonna be picked for next year, they will play in the four day competition, one day competition and have TOURS too, so they should get plenty of games, I've reached out to my contact in the WICB and asked them to consider the likes of Yannic Cariah, Sheldon Cotterrell, Kelbert Walters, Jahmar Hamtilton amoungst many others, just good young talent who have often been left out of their respective teams just so garbage "seniors" can play ,

I realy dont have time for people like Afro . He and those of his ilk are complicit with the WICB regarding the Sad ; Sorry State of Cricket in the Region . He can however take solace in the fact that most of the people in the Region who claim to be Sports Journalists , are also complicit with the WICB .

They dare not write what I write , for fear of offending the WICB . The fact is that by not being very critical of the WICB ; They have emboldened the WICB to believe that it is on the Right Track . Nothing can be further from the Truth .

IF WE WANT CRICKET TO IMPROVE IN THE REGION , THE FIRST THING THAT MUST BE DONE IS

TO HAVE A WORKING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE WICB & THE PLAYERS & WIPA . DOING THIS

WILL OBVIOUSLY FOSTER HARMONIOUS RELATIONS BETWEEN ALL PARTIES .

Unfortunately I seriously doubt that this will ever happen since the people who populate the WICB think of themselves as being vastly superior to the Players in every respect . Many people seem to forget that they inherited this Entity from folks that were of a different pigmentation '
who did not want Sir Frank Worrell to be the Captain of the West Indies Team , because he was Black , and ALL previous Captains were white .

Those currently in the WICB can justly be called the MIMIC MEN , since they are imitating the White Folks who ruled the West Indies Cricket Board of Control ; aka the WICBC , they in turn mimicked those in England .

Sir Frank Worrell did many things for West Indies Cricket , which they meekly accepted ; two of the most important were , making Garfield Sobers the Captain of the West Indies Team and allowing Players from the Windward & Leeward Islands to get a chance to be selected on the West Indies Team . Unlike others Sir Frank Worrell always looked at Cricket in the Region from a Regional perspective unlike many who looked at Cricket from an Insular point of view .
