OBSERVATIONS!!!West Indies A Twenty20 Squad
Dwayne Smith – Captain
Samuel Badree
Christopher Barnwell
Miles Bascombe
Nkrumah Bonner
Carlos Brathwaite
Johnson Charles
Jason Mohammed
Garey Mathurin
Nelon Pascal
Veerasammy Permaul
Krishmar Santokie
Devon Thomas
Is Permaul the next SAMMY? Looks like de WICB trying to develop anodda Sammy here...
There is no way that NARINE should not be in this squad...None whatsoever unless the umpires in the just concluded 50/50 reported some suspicion on his action and its a 'hush' 'hush'! Just my conspiracy theory here!!!

It looks like Russell making a trip to India for the 2nd test....can someone advise if Roach is being sent home?
Fletcher need to be part of this squad also...

It's encouraging to see a foundation being built for the future. I'm also pleased that Dwayne Smith has been given some responsibility that should hone into his own cricketing talents. He's a classic example of having all the ability, but lacks the mental discipline to channel that ability. Hopefully his experience to lead the youngsters will be beneficial allround.

Russell is here to stay, it seems, because he's in the squad for the second 'Test':

Yes, Russell and Narine are in the ODI squad for India, but they could have played in the 20/20 matches, because Jason Mohammed is doing that to stay match fit....joshua wrote:kevon cooper, narine, russell and fletcher instead of charles, bascombe, permaul and thomas
This would've been a stronger XI than the joke batting side that the selectors put out yesterday:
1) Julian Charles
2) Dwayne Smith (capt)
3) Andre Fletcher (wkt - if Perkins can keep for Trinidad, then Fletcher can keep in this format)
4) Lendl Simmons (if fit, if not, then Keddy Lesporis)
5) Jason Mohammed (practice for India)
6) Andre Russell (practice for India)
7) Kevon Cooper
8-11) the bowlers
Bonner is just not a 20/20 batsman, as we can see from the domestic 20/20 topscorers....
