dat is wat it is yuh have deh..ah dream. the odds on ramdin continuing a test career are slim to none.
the man has played 42 tests yuh know. that is the fact that I had not realised. yu dont do all of that AND STILL HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ABILITY
after yu play 42 test and get dropped yu dont come back. chances of that are slim indeed

dat is not the point bally. 42 tests is the point.
30-35 is wat any team needs from its #7. if not that position is a waste of time no matter how slick the glovework.
we were not getting dat from ramdin..consistently. wat we got was 22-25?
westindies had to look elsewhere and went to baugh. baugh is just as bad with the bat but is now just as good as ramdin with the gloves...NILE then...no improvement...balance.
so wat to do...go laterally back, to ramdin who has not improved with the bat in the interim?
wats the point in juggling laterals?
is there some advantage to go back to ramdin. maybe if yu going to make him captain. he has demonstrated good captaincy skills.
but yu have taken chance on a captain already and he is in place, a hard worker who has been perfomring above expectations....
no sir. wat is likely to happen is that a youth will come up the middle and make both ramdin and baugh redundant. that s the logical expactation in this issue. time waits on no one
