If you'd actually had the intelligence to read my post above yours, you will see that I've including both Fletcher and Jason Mo in my side. It's the other joke batsmen that I've dropped!

I don't think Jason Mo deserves his place in the 20/20 side on personal performances in this format, because he was dropped from the Trinidad team towards the end of the Champions League, and didn't shine in the domestic 20/20. However, I believe that both Jason Mo and Russell could use some practice ahead of the India ODIs, and that's why I picked both of them.

Quite simply, Thomas should not be in this side, and Barnwell has been a disappointment. There's no way both CHarles and Bascombe should play in the same side - only one of them should play. And this side was clearly missing another specialist batsman. Fletcher should've been that batsman....
What "joke batsman" did you drop? :| the one you said this about in the other thread?
mikesiva wrote:Okay, let's look at the stats from this two-match series....

3) Miles Bascombe - 29 runs @ 29 and SR of 111 - PASS
So he "passed" but you've dropped him? YOUR FULL OF SH/T MIKE!!..and i believe you're losing your marbles in your old age, you love to talk about "stats" and yet when someone performs you're still happy to drop them in favor of your new "flavor of the month"!!...you're so transparent.

Bascombe got a pass...it's hardly excellent, averaging 29 from one match, is it?
:?
If you think that Bascombe did brilliantly, then your standards are lower than I thought....

Isn't it obvious who I would omit? Can't you look at the players in the current 20/20 series, and figure it out? Thomas, Bonner and Barnwell are out, and only ONE of Charles and Bascombe should play - you decide!
:)
The side was short a big-hitting batsman, like Fletcher....

YOU left Bascombe out of your team despite saying he "passed"...if you can't see the contradiction there then blame your lack of education, not me, secondly WHO SAID HE DONE BRILLIANTLY? putting words in my mouth again?

Bottom line is Fletcher needs to focus on his four day performances, imo that's the only format where he's been consistant and played his best cricket, Kirk Edwards used to be pushed into the WI one day team after he done well in some one day games for the A-team BUT IT WAS EFFECTING HIS GAME, so they took him out and look at him now? he's fully focused on the Test team and the results have been great, let Fletcher follow in those footsteps before we ruin his career completely.

I didn't leave Bascombe out...read my post properly.
:?
I said only ONE of Bascombe or Charles can play. Given that Charles failed in this series, and Bascombe just scraped a pass in his only match, I'd be more inclined to play Bascombe than Charles, but I wouldn't complain if the selectors picked Charles instead of Bascombe for the next WI A 20/20, just as long as BOTH of them don't play! Go it now?

In the last domestic season, Fletcher did better than most of the batsmen in the current A team series in BOTH the four-day and 20/20 domestic competitions, but as joshua points out, he's been sidelined....

It all goes back to Becca's article, which is so right about these force ripe youngsters.

Mike clearly you didn't read this part? .

LET THE YUTE FOCUS ON A FORMAT HE'S GOOD AT, he won't be getting back into the WI t20 team for now so there's no point confusing the kid,

As for Becca, he's a skunt who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, so he's pretty much like you!! .
