Guillen deserves his place in the side according to the stats from the regional one-day competition....
http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine ... tournament" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Based on these stats, and the bowling stats below, a lot of these players should not be in the side....

There should be no place in this squad for Corbin, Carter, Delorn Johnson, Brathwaite, Thomas, Permaul, Mathurin and Gabriel....
This would be my XI, based upon the stats above....
1) Justin Guillen
2) Leon Johnson
3) Xavier Marshall
4) Tamar Lambert
5) Shamarh Brooks
6) Nkrumah Bonner
7) Patrick Browne (only keeper to make runs)
8) Jason Holder
9) Nikita Miller
10) Krishmar Santokie
11) Kavesh Kantasingh
What's the point of having a regional competition, if you're going to ignore the results, and put your favourites in the side?

Can you seriously say that those players who were actually picked deserved to be picked over my list?

Lambert scored more runs in the domestic one-dayers than most of these jokers, Browne scored more runs than Thomas, and Miller took more wickets than Permaul and Mathurin....
WIAvBangA: West Indies team-Corbin,Guillen,L.Johnson,Bonner,Carter,Thomas,Brathwaite,Holder,Permaul,Mathurin and Gabriel
Let's compare the two batting lineups, and how they did in the regional one-day tournament recently....
1) Corbin (Afro & WICB) 44 runs @ ave 14 vs Marshall 95 runs @ 31 = Marshall wins
2) Guillen (WICB) vs Guillen (me) = tie
3) Leon Johnson (Afro & WICB) vs Leon Johnson (me) = tie
4) Bonner (Afro & WICB) vs Bonner (me) = tie
5) Carter (Afro & WICB) 0 runs @ 0 ave vs Brooks (me) 81 runs @ 40 = Brooks wins
6) Carlos Brathwaite (WICB) 25 runs @ 25 vs Lambert (me) 123 runs @ 123 = Lambert wins
7) Thomas (WICB) 59 runs @ 19 vs Browne (me) 66 runs @ 66 = Browne wins
My side wins 4-0....
