its a very enjoyable movie Huckle! for me it is special for reasons I have talked about below. you could easily spend time worse than the hour and half that movie takes. get a copy and see. enjoy!

you woud have to see it to understand...a Rock and Roll fable as it was descibed at the beginning it is indeed a fantasy but ideally rock and roll. it is as if they took out of my mind an idealization of rock and roll, a contiguous love story and the music I always wanted to hear.Huckle wrote:I didn't see that movie but what tickle your fancy?
oh my god! I was into that world instantly when I saw the movie first so many years ago, when my kids were kids. I bought a copy the next day from the video store and actually livd in there for a while. I go back in every so often.
you cant die in that world you know. it is forever, always fresh, the good and right always win, love is always sweet, powerful, achingly sacrifical and chivalrous.
and one of the greatest names in rock and roll is associated with the music in Streets....and once I see his name in there I am a goner...I am going in to see whats going on.
that name is Ry Cooder...a music man par excellence..a truly great guitarist. Cooder is up there with the real bad men bwoy! let me tell you...with Jimi Hendrix the greatest, absolutely stunning guitarist who ever lived....magic fingers I called him..with chuck berry the real father of rock and roll.
these people are god man..straight from the source! and I dont believe! but if there is he sends people like these.
use wicky wacky to find cooder and you will see for yourself!
