West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul is set to surpass Desmond Haynes as the country’s second-highest run scorer in One Day Internationals during the first ODI against Sri Lanka at Hambantota on December 9. Chanderpaul, who will be making his 262nd appearance in the shorter version of the game, is currently level with Haynes on 8648 runs and will climb to 15th on the all time list should he get off the mark in Hambantota.
