Lambert vows to fight back after axeing

Tamar Lambert has vowed to fight his way back into Jamaica’s Twenty20 side, after selectors on Monday sacked him as captain and left him out of their 14-man squad for next month’s Caribbean T20 Championship. The 29-year-old, who has struggled in T20s of recent, was replaced by an equally out-of-form Wavell Hinds for the January 10-23 tournament in Antigua and Barbados.
Lambert said he had suffered disappointments before and had bounced back, and intended to do the same thing again.
“I wouldn’t say that I was surprised, but I am disappointed,” Lambert told the Jamaica Gleaner.

Jamaica cut their most successful leader... Ah thought some of my Jamaican friends were calling for Lamber to lead the WI team... :?

the yadies do real weird stuf eh...Hinds as cappo. deh shud drop him by now. go to younger players with upside...

true maps...time to bring in youngsters ... Nash can't make the yard T20 team so he is out for Cappo. But, Googley would argue for him the same reason Sammy is WI cappo.

What bout the Logie factor? They Jamaicans have a Trini as their coach... :lol:

those were the footsteps I heard come runnin' as soon as sknash name get mention...faster come when yuh say cappo in the same breath! :P :P

Logie has proven himself a good coach. he shud take the yard tp the top now lemmih see with all this Gibson business ;)

We need numbers... One on the things I want to create a list of WI coaches , record, time frame etc Want to give it a shot?
