and...who are these players.......identify them for the FAN?

J A Veerasawmy, T A Hamid, A Razack, K Razack, C S Persaud

these are all westindian intercolonial cricketers

the first Titty representative player of Indian ancestry I could discover in westindies cricket is the inter-colonial player P Gajadhar, apparently a bowler, who represented Trinidad against Barbados in 1910.

in that same year, 1910 J A Veerasawmy also represented BG against Titty. Veerasawmy also played for BG in 1921.

Both Veerasawmy and T A hamid plaed in 1922..Hamid for Titty and Veerasawmy fr BG. A Razack playd BG in 1924. ten years later we have an appearance by K Razack into the inter-colonial arean for Titty.

C S Persaud a guyanese who apparently migrated to Trinidad and represented Titty as well, began for BG and was on the verge of selection for the 1939 tour of England.

Persaud began with a score of 174 for BG against Barbados in 1937. he did not do as impressively subsequently and missed out on the English tour
