I never expected a proper camp with the intent to make up for all the shortages listed by point. and for point to expect such planning from the wicb at this point is to expose a pace or understanding on his part that is way too slow, maybe deliberate, calculated to protect himself from accusations of being precipitous?
after the history we have been through though, what in the hell can be precipitous in accusing the wicb of sabotage...sabotage to any extreme in fact. the facts are before us!
if Point argues that a long camp was necessary and gave valid reasons for that, what makes Point so intricate that we all cant see his argument from the outset?
and if the wicb accepts a tour itinerary that poses an impossible challenge to the readiness of the team it sends out...repeatedly does so to the extent that the westindies has become a sort of sacrifice to international cricket...why would they set up a camp to try overcome the readiness shortage they themselves created in the first place...when they have always created such a shortage of readiness with teams they send out, and have never, ever sought to correct that shortage by extended camp preparation?
now if this argument has been made repeatedly for a generation or 2, why cant wicb behaviour be said to be deliberate? (you all should see also that deliberate or not it amounts to the same thing...sabotage.)
but if those who make the decisons cannot help but be aware of what they do then what in the hell is it they are doing...not deliberate, conscious action that harms westindies cricket?
and what s that then? the word is sabotage!
and look here! it is even worse than sabotage! it is also a kind of white racism by elite blac westindians, toward their own kind.
it is also as well the heights of class warfare for the westindian blac elites see our players as ordinary workers who must be kept in their places, ordinary blac and brown bwoys of no account whom they can treat as they see fit.
the racism part sees the ordinary blac boys in particualr as beast of burden who deserve just what they get. and in negotiations for tours they do not see it necessary to argue for the rights of our players, for preparation time etc., for then N' and C boys tough, hard, they can take anything!
thats how they treat our players at home and thats how they send them out to be treated!
to people like Hilaire and Hunte, jefes both, upper class people, our players are simply ordinary cannon fodder who do not deserve better than they are treated by such as they the wicb. and it was the same with the wicbc from start to now - wicb.
what allyuh should do is go back into the tours/history of our cricket, begining with the first in 1928 and examine how the players were treated on tour, how the accomadation went for examle, who stayed where and in what kind of accomadation, who hung with who...in fact what were the rules ointernal engagement on tour by westindies teams that comprised of white and blac players?
the stories I heard and read disclosed seperation/apartheid, racism and inequality of the worst sort for the blac players as opposed to the whites
the westindian blac elites are nothing if they are not white, lily white in attitude, intellectual orientation and behaviour. they have imbibed all the racism of white people and throw it back on odinary white blac people in the westindies. and these are the people, who with all their degrees lead the westindies...to the absolute ruin the region faces.
these dogs as I call them, are naturally subservient with white people, allow them to do as they please in the wstindies, but are horrible towards their own blac people. they are capable of the most massive creativity and energy when it comes to devising means to keep the ordinary westindian people down, but ar dead weight when it comes to creativity and skill in developing westindian independence and regional prosperity, despite the fact that a lot of them are truly intelletually capable and well qualified.
they can work excellently for the white man in a global sysem based on the full and comprehensive exploitation and mass murder of their pown people, yet cannot apply that same creativity to free themslevs and their own people.
the westindian blac elites...and indeed blac elites the world over...are the absolute worst kind of people alive, a case of mass psychology case that requiries the most urgent psychiatric attention. thay have sabotaged westindies cricket from what I see and the reason why is clear.
