Well my comment was merely related to your "stats" line and i was just wondering why you never talk about his stats from the Sri-lanka tour!! , the fact is he's been poor for over a year now, poor in Australia in 09, average at home to SA and poor again in Sri-lanka, that poor form continued in the world cup too which is why he was dropped, so no, it's not just about "one series".

WI cappo/coach, droppped him instead of giving him more opportunitues to spend time at the wicket. That was what screwed WI up.

Shiv should have opened the batting with Gayle in ALL of the games, except for injury (to either).

But the way it was handled, it seemed that it once SHiv failed they rest him then played a more out of form Shiv in a critical game! Looks like he was setup to fail!

So one 40 is meant to wipe out all the poor performances he had before that? where was Shiv against South Africa? where was Shiv against Ireland? where was Shiv against Holland? he was becoming a massive liability IMO and was rightly dropped, and apart from making low scores in the earlier games he was also slowing down the run rate which was another thing that was hurting the teams prospects.

that is not the case at all. for 17 years shive has demonstrated class beyond the ordinary. it is on that basis you play him. bad patch or decline, we have to dind out. we must play him to do so. if its a bad pacth we win. if he is declined beyond value then its time for hm to go.

Like i said before i had my reservations about Nash too when i first heard he was being picked for WI but he's won me over with his consistent performances, and right now WI need every decent player we can get, bringing up Nash's name whilst speaking on the issues black people have had to face in life is unfair imo, when WI were ruling the world and touring Australia who do you think was inviting OUR BLACK CRICKET TEAM over for dinner and cooking for them? IT WAS NASH'S PARENTS!!, so just think about that before you slag off Nash again.

It doesn't matter, you have your views and i don't share them, it's no big deal we're all WI fans at the end of the day!! , it's not like Nash will be around forever anyway, my biggest hopes remain with the youngsters anyway because i believe they are seriously talented and can take WI forward in the next three to four years.
