LOL at the posters above writing him off before he'd even made his test debut!! , but that's just typical of the caribbean fans, if you don't score a ton in your first innings suddenly "you're not good enough" , Edwards has been a sensation for us, i really hope he can be a Jonathan Trott figure in this team, a man who might not have a flashy style but gets runs on the board on a consistant basis,

Another thing to note is apparently he's the vice captain of the test team? i swear i heard the commentators talking about it during the first Trinidad vs Jamaica game.

This I am glad to hear...now Sammy's deserving EXIT is more imminent...

BTW...Kirk is really punching above his weight but I will really wait until the Indian leg to really judge!!!

True.. this is Kirk's third tests and he beating the odds against the law of average... Let's see how he progress in a couple more series against full strength teams.
