it does not take a genius to see that so far Gibsons approach is ridiculous..that watver success the team and inddividuals on it achieved on the past 5 games are due mostly to indivodual ambition more than Gibbo as coach

Gibbos is bad advertisment for head coaches and the perfect item for me in my crusade agaisnt head coaches.

the head coach position is bound to attract a certain type of individual for the most part..a type we see in soccer managers/head coaches all the time..ego driven buffoons, cum control freaks, who cost a lot of money and create shambles in the wakes.

soccer is a flashy sport, that attracts a type of manic bationalist and regiona devotion that takes fully in stride and prospers with that type of high profile personality at the help..the more controversy the merrier.

that is not how cricket functions. the ICC in its drive to make a major league sport out of cricket, like baseball, vision of dollars dancing in their collective head, have sought to change the personality of cricket to accomadate their drive for dollars, hence we have the head coach in cricket. a totall useless additive

I wish to ask, who wasn't his approach ridiculous when he coached and improved the English team?...why haven't we heard the moaning and groaning from the english about "too much exercise?....Gibson is trying to change the status quo and people vex....who don't like it retire!....the culture in the WI team MUST change!.....

let me tell allyuh this story from way back in the day!

1n 1966 in england westindies wanted Mike Smith to be captain of England. deh knew he was an easy out and a not so hot leader, but he was in contention for the job among a few others.

on the weekend before the first test westindies played warwickshire, Smiths team. when smith came into bat Sobers took off the good bowling and let a fella by the name of Brancker from barbados bowl a lot.

Smith killed Brancker...a left arm spinner batsman from bim, who shud not have made the tour.. scored a big ton and on that was made England skipper.

take a look at the 1966 tour records to see what westindies did with smith in the tests. he may have played 2, the first and the second...in which he was destroyed by westindies bowling.

Westindies killed endgland in the first test and Holford and Sobers pulled out the second with a massive late partnership.

and Mike Smith was toast...done forever as anything in the england side.

the first test is next week and all of a sudden Sammy is taking wickets when he cud not buy one before.

I wud bet any money at all the Paks are picking westidies side for us yesterday. they want Sammy as captain bad bad, so they gave him agood game.

that also is part of the strategies of winning. it can go as far as making sure there are no valets to carry the teams luggage when they arrive for a tour..all to destabilise the tourists emotionally. its has been going on a long time and it is very sohpisticated now

Ganga was an option..still is an option. Ganga can be considered legitimately on his dung heap stats, before sammy is considered.

ganga has done better at what he does....compared to sammy in wat he does...in dung heap for years now!

well di'ze wat we learn. and we have had nutten to teach we different! so wen deh speak wat deh say is all deh know. wen yu speak if yu agree with then its all fine.

but if u dont it is not a simple disagreement with your right to that contrary opinion....its emotional right away. deh vex with you and you with dem and trouble, trouble, trouble.

resolution can come in the process how thngs work out to prove who is right or wrong and how best to proceed from that point on. and at which point leadership cud be changed..the wrong person relieved and the right person put in place
