Currently two of the best batsmen in the Region went to Reputable Cricket Academies , Gayle and Sarwan . Obviously they didnt go there for free , so your crap about Countries looking after their own Players is moot . I recall that Vivian Richards went to Alf Gover's Academy ; early in his career .
how did gayle sarwan get to those academies? who paid? i never knew deh were sent out!
why is my point about countries looking after their own moot?
wat do they do then if not look out for their players...look after ours?
when westindies developed great players using english conditions in county games as a big prop, deh cut off the westindies.
all manner of tactical warfare off the field were used to neutralise westindies cricket power.
on the field they used the 'empires' and the match referes.
I remember as a child in 1961 listening to Oz 'empires' tiefing Frank Worrells westindians.
next day raffie Knowles, an important old white westindian commentator went to town on the Oz for their corruption.
I experienced all dat and far far more. so I dont know wat the hell allyuh talking about when it comes to the treatment of westindian players in forrin lands at all levels of the game, on and off the field.
and its still there. nothing has changed!
when you imply dat other countires look out for westindian players I dont have a clue wat yu talking about point. yu mus' know a lot more than i know about this dan I do.
