yu guys are very limited, narrow and shortsighted people. like AFRO calling my support for westndian coaches only a contradiction because I criticise Gibson. he cant see dat there is noyhing contrary there at all

how does one begin to deal with that?
IT'S A CONTRADICTION BECAUSE ONE MINUET YOU SAY WE SHOULD SUPPORT WEST INDIAN COACHES AND NEVER APPOINT A FOREIGN ONE REGARDLESS OF THEIR RECORD AND THEN THE NEXT MINUET YOU'RE CUSSING OFF GIBBO AND SAYING YOU WANT HIM SACKED!! .

if you can't fathom how that is a contradiction then don't blame me, blame your lack of comprehension skills.

I know of no 'reputable' cricket schools dat the then wicb did not have to pay for when westindians went out to them.

dat is why so few were sent out..because it cost money the wicb did not have...and stollmeyer, grant, rae an' dem were'nt building any in the region.

deh eventually got hall, sobers and kanhai to work n the westindies. in fact it was ERic Williams who did that..employed them all in Trinidad...not the wicbc.

hall set up the wes hall youth league in Titty, which was really the start of the modern game in the westindies. hall got sponsors and all dat and got something very popular going.

then the wicbc got shell and a consistent and popular regional competition began.

before shell it was a hapharzard off-yearly kind of thing...depending on when the wicbc coffers were flush after tours like Oz in 60-61 and england in 63

bwoy look stop yuh nonsens eh. go define what a contradiction is then. get a definition somewhere and stop talkin comprehension..where yu have a major problem.

to criticise gibbo on what he has done so far, does not contradict the need for westindies to draw on its considerable cricket tradition for all its development needs including good coaches.

we do not have to tolerate bad westindian coaches if we limit ourselves to selection from among westindians.

that is what yu are stating ...that because gibbo is westindian I mus' shut my mouth and stick with him even if he is a bad coach.

nothing at all goes like that

there are 5-6 million westindians a lot of whom play cricket and are coaches. there must be some good ones

The problem is your argument is both feeble and frivolous BECAUSE GIBBO HAS BEEN GETTING RESULTS, a "bad coach" doesn't draw a t20 series in England after England had murdered India all summer, a "bad coach" doesn't get a test series draw AWAY to Sri-lanka when they were riding high in 4th spot in the rankings, a "bad coach" doesn't draw with the same Pakistan team that drew with South Africa and are beating down Sri-lanka right now  ,

BUT YOUR HATRED OF THE MAN SEEMS TO BLIND YOU OF THE TRUTH, if he was clearly failing and we were getting beaten all the time then i would agree with you, BUT WE AREN'T, and to make matters worse when i challenge you to NAME HIS REPLACEMENT you just start talking a load of GARBAGE about "i don't have to name any" and "we should not have a coach", it's all a load of hot air at the end of day.

let us say yu have a case..as I do have a case!

and i will leave it at that!

there is no point going further for you have not heard all i said although it right in front of you.

and the points in it that you focus on do not tell the whole story, does not capture my meaning fully, and take it further in proper critique or in agreement

Currently two of the best batsmen in the Region went to Reputable Cricket Academies , Gayle and Sarwan . Obviously they didnt go there for free , so your crap about Countries looking after their own Players is moot . I recall that Vivian Richards went to Alf Gover's Academy ; early in his career .
how did gayle sarwan get to those academies? who paid? i never knew deh were sent out!

why is my point about countries looking after their own moot?

wat do they do then if not look out for their players...look after ours? :D :D :D

when westindies developed great players using english conditions in county games as a big prop, deh cut off the westindies.

all manner of tactical warfare off the field were used to neutralise westindies cricket power.

on the field they used the 'empires' and the match referes.

I remember as a child in 1961 listening to Oz 'empires' tiefing Frank Worrells westindians.

next day raffie Knowles, an important old white westindian commentator went to town on the Oz for their corruption.

I experienced all dat and far far more. so I dont know wat the hell allyuh talking about when it comes to the treatment of westindian players in forrin lands at all levels of the game, on and off the field.

and its still there. nothing has changed!

when you imply dat other countires look out for westindian players I dont have a clue wat yu talking about point. yu mus' know a lot more than i know about this dan I do.
